The Gambardella show is a smaller show geared towards high dollar, older cars and race cars. OTEC attendance for this event was Ron and his 72 Chevelle, Tracy and her 91 Mustang GT, both accompanied with a friend of the club, Jimmy Johnson and his Slow 88 Camaro. The awards were broken down to the winning 3 from each category, ex- Muscle, Street Rod, and Classic. Unfortunately while giving out one of the sponsored awards, they had to announce the passing of a shop owner. I was by the dyno so I couldn’t hear all the details but it was a sad moment of silence. Rest in Peace sir. All in all a GREAT show.
The dyno runs were impressive, one run including a friend of the club with his Silver Camaro that did some damage to that dyno with almost 600 horse power on his NOS pull. ( call me for your pics dude 6096851487.. I got a good one of you) I have photos of his dyno sheet that I’ll post when I can. Take note that these photos are digital copies of 35mm film.
