At the beginning of every spring a type of transformation takes place. Baby birds are being born, flowers are blossoming, and the sun is shining. Alright enough of the kiddy stuff, lets get down to business........spring is the beginning of the car show season. Finishing up those last minute touches, breaking out the carbon fiber body parts after them being tucked away for the winter, or getting that engine tuned up just perfectly. This past Sunday, April 26th, Over The Edge Customs car club kicked off their season with a bang! Hosting their 3rd annual custom car, truck and bike show which turned out to be one of the biggest yet with over 100 cars in attendance. With the weather on they're side this year OTEC kicked off their festivities with roll-in starting at 10 am. However to much of they're surprise the cars started pouring in as of 9 am, quickly filling the parking lot by 12 noon. Judging got underway as the gang had the hard job of picking the top 60 cars and the winners of the 8 specialty awards. Custom Factory Installations provided a soundtrack for spectators and attendees by hosting they're 2nd annual SPL (Sound Pressure Levels) competition during the show and handed out trophies to the 3 highest hitting competitors in each class. After tallying the judging votes, OTEC finished off the day with announcing the winning vehicles and distributing their appropriate trophies. Finishing off with last minute pictures, jokes of how sunburn everyone was and the comedic relief of the club mascot humping one of the members legs seemed to be the perfect way to the end the day.
