TST Sonic Meet

The OTEC crew headed out to the Moorestown Best Buy for the beginning of what became a wet and cold day. Being our first time attending Tri-state-tuners annual Sonic meet we had no idea what to expect knowing the weather wasn't on our side. None the less our caravan headed out from Best Buy a little after 10 am where we made our way over the Betsy Ross Bridge and onto the PA Turnpike picking up the last minute stranglers along the way. With rain pounding at our windshields the whole ride there our group of about 25 split in 2. Thankfully everyone arrived at the Sonic in Morgantown in one piece, and to much of our surprise the parking lots were already full. Didn't get an exact number but a guess would say between 2-3 hundred cars in attendance. It was nice to see that a little bit of rain wouldn't rain on our parade. Glancing around after chowing down on some of those delicious chili-cheese-tots that sonic is so famous for seemed to be the best way to make the best of the event given the weather. Every car company was well represented at the meet, lots of Mitsubishis, Subarus, Hondas, Mazdas, Nissans and we were even graced with the presence of a beautiful black R33 Skyline. Finishing our rounds the gang decided to head out around 2 pm. Of course upon returning to good old Jersey the weather decided to clear up and turn into a beautiful day after all.
